Hyun S. Shin received B.B.A. and M.B.A. (Major: International Business and Strategy) from Seoul National University,
M.S. in Economics (Specialization: International Economics and Econometrics) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
and Ph.D. in Management (Major: Marketing) from UCLA. Prior to joining Hanyang University,
he has taught at Long Island University (New York, USA), Korea Air Force Academy (Chung-won, South Korea),
and Ewha Womans University (Seoul, South Korea). His research interests include dynamic interdependence between
marketing and innovation, marketing ROI, new product development, marketing research, e-marketing, collective impact
and social entrepreneurship. His research has appeared in journals such as Management Science and Management Decision.
